 Quick way to install WordPress on localhost by IADM Student .



STEP 1:

The first to installing Wordpress on localhost is to download and install

XAMPP software on your Computer. You Can download XAMPP

window from Apache. It will  takes some time to download depending on

 Computer connection







STEP 2:

After installing XAMPP, you should now configure your XAMPP.


After the setup of XAMPP, you will need to Start up these two

modules.

Apache

MY SQL






STEP 3:  Download WordPress on your PC:


To install wordpress visit on wordpress.org.

To install wordpress, click on the download wordpress button.














STEP 4:    



After downloading, you will extract the zip file ,you will see the

Wordpress folder.Then you will copy this folder.

Now, Paste the WordPress folder  that you copied on htdocs.


Now ,the wordpress file has been placed in the XAMPP local Server.



 After that, Right-click on the WordPress zip file then click on extract files. Now This file is extracted. Now copy the file.


 Now,open the XAMPP file  and then paste the files into the htdocs folder.


Now, rename the folder and give it the name you want .



Now in the XAMPP , the WordPress file is stored.it's time to configure wordpress in the browser.To do this, open your browser and type the name of the folder. Afterwards , it will take you to the WordPress page. It will select a language and click Continue.




Step 5:

 Now, We need a database so all the data will be stored in our database. Now we will open the localhost / phpMyAdmin in a new tab.

Now, PHPMyAdmin is open so we create a database.

 

Step 6:

After creating the database, we will go to WordPress Setup and click on the Let's Go button.

 

 Enter the database name, set the root as the username, enter the database host, and leave the Password section empty and click on the Submit button.

 

 Now, a window will open with the button to run the installation then click on the Run install button.

 

 

 

 

Now, you write the Site Title, Username, password, and correct E-Mail. And then click on install WordPress.

 

 

Step 7:

Remember the  username and password because it is used to login into WordPress.

 

Step 8:

Now, Wordpress Dashboard is open.

Congratulations, we have successfully installed WordPress on the  XAMPP.
